She was born February 11 1908, in Petersburg, the daughter of Harry and Anne M. Grosboll Schirding. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Whitaker, and a brother John Schirding. Miss Schirding was a self-employed businesswoman Surviving are two nieces, Cathie (husband, Chris) Boland of Sturgis, Mich., and Emily Schirding of Glenarm two nephews Harry (wife, Sharon) and Hal (wife, Jane) Schirding. both of Petersburg; sister-in-law. Jessie Schirding of Petersburg; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial gathering was held from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, September 24 at Hurley Funeral Home Petersburg. Burial will be at a later date. Received from Rachel Boland Dec. 20 2003.
