PETERSBURG - Jep Anthony Grosboll, 70, of Petersburg died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center.He was born April 1, 1936, in rural Menard County, the son of Jep G. and Clara Jean Park Grosboll.Mr. Grosboll retired as a cameraman, producer and director of public broadcasting and network television stations and then was a bus driver for the PORTA school district. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg.Survivors: two sons, Jep Duncan (wife, Kim) Grosboll of Ashville, N.C., Barry Douglas Meyers of North Carolina; daughter, Cheryl Kay (husband, David) Whitaker of Tennessee; a grandchild; brother, P.J. (wife, Judy) Grosboll of Normal; sister, Millie (husband, Albert) Justice of Rochester, Mich.; and companion, Shirley Parker Grosboll of Sacramento, Calif.Cremation was accorded.Memorial services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Central Presbyterian Church, Petersburg, the Rev. Julie Peterson officiating.Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
